How to Become A Member

In order to become an official member, you must complete two requirements outlined below:

  1. Fill out the 2023-2024 IBA Membership Application

  2. Pay Membership Dues

    • To be an IBA member for the entire year, dues are NOW $60

    • To be an IBA member for a semester, dues are NOW $35

    • We are no longer accepting dues for the year, only for the Spring 2024 semester!

Note: Returning IBA members receive a $5 discount when they renew their membership!

Note: After October 1st/March 3rd, Membership dues increase by $5.

Payment Options:

  1. Digital payment through Venmo (@DevWIBA)

  2. Physical Cash Payment to the President, VP, or Director of Finance

Membership Points & Rewards System

As a member, you'll have the opportunity to earn points through various activities, such as attending GBMs and social events, participating in professional development workshops, and volunteering for philanthropy initiatives. Each activity is assigned a corresponding point value, allowing you to accumulate points as you get involved and make a positive impact.

You can earn points for the following activities:

1. Follow/Tag IBA on Social Media  (5 points) 

2. Attend a General Body Meeting (10 points) 

3. Participation/Engagement at GBM (10 points)

4. Attend Office Hours (15 points) 

5. Attend a Social Event (20 points) 

6. Attend a Philanthropic Event (20 points) 

7. Attend a Professional Development Workshop (20 points)

8. Attend a Field Trip (25 points)

9. Recruit a Friend to Join the IBA (30 points) 

10. Pay Dues/Become a Member (50 points)

How to redeem your membership points:

1. Check how many points you have so far

2. Come to office hours or email us (iba.templeu@gmail.com) to schedule an appointment with an officer
